There are so many wonderful architectural styles in Pinecrest, from the ‘ranch style’ so common in the 1950’s and 1960’s, to the Mediterranean style so woven into our South Florida culture, and more recently we had the infusion of Florida Vernacular and it’s Key West-style sister, and of course now we have the invasion of the sleek Modern cube. This beautiful home that I recently sold in North Pinecrest was so special because it had a style all of it’s own. There was still a little hint of the original ranch style, but with near 9′ ceilings and very clean lines there was a strong sense of modernity, and with a back drop of terracotta floors a warm sense of Spanish prevailed. Nestled on an epic acre, this ‘home sweet home’ will see years of fun and run, I’m sure. Congratulations to the Buyers, and to some very special Sellers:) It was the perfect match.
